Dutch Pedophiles to Launch Political Party

AMSTERDAM (May 30) - Dutch pedophiles are launching a political party to push for a cut in the legal age for sexual relations to 12 from 16 and the legalization of child pornography and sex with animals.
The Charity, Freedom and Diversity (NVD) party said on its Web site it would be officially registered Wednesday, proclaiming: "We are going to shake The Hague awake!"
The party said it wanted to cut the legal age for sexual relations to 12 and eventually scrap the limit altogether.
"A ban just makes children curious," Ad van den Berg, one of the party's founders, told the Algemeen Dagblad (AD) newspaper.
"We want to make pedophilia the subject of discussion," he said, adding that the subject had been a taboo since the 1996 Marc Dutroux child abuse scandal in neighboring Belgium. "We have been hushed up. The only way is through parliament."
The Netherlands already has liberal policies on soft drugs, prostitution, and gay marriage, but the NVD is unlikely to win much support, the AD quoted experts as saying.
"They make out as if they want more rights for children. But their position that children should be allowed sexual contact from age 12 is of course just in their own interest," anti-pedophile campaigner Ireen van Engelen told the daily.
The party said private possession of child pornography should be allowed although it favors banning the trade of such materials. The broadcast of pornography should be allowed on daytime television, with only violent pornography limited to the late evening, according to the party.
Toddlers should be given sex education and youths aged 16 and up should be allowed to appear in pornographic films and prostitute themselves. Sex with animals should be allowed although abuse of animals should remain illegal, the NVD said.
The party also said everybody should be allowed to go naked in public.
The party's program also includes ideas for other areas of public policy including legalizing all soft and hard drugs and free train travel for all.

FYI - Obviously this isn't primarily a discussion board and I've never done anything to discourage readers or commenter's from participating elsewhere. If anything, I encourage it, especially when it means actual information coming to everyone's attention. That's still my policy and won't change. Many former commenter's found Refuge. I think that's great. However some posters will not be welcomed back and nonsense here will will result in a prompt ban. I'd rather host 1 or 2 decent people, than any number of useless idiots I allowed to remain here too long in the first place.

Yes... Supposedly a Colombian with the same name as the gardner witness was arrested in Aruba and there was an additional arrest in Holland but i'm not sure about that. None of the additional arrests have been confirmed as far as I know.

Good question. I've always wondered why the beach story made Joran the last one with Natalee. Why not a story that 3 dropped her off at the beach? Would there have been more or less witnesses? I don't think so, but there would be three under suspicion. Perhaps the real 'conspiracy' in this case is the relationship between all these suspect families. JMHO

How were they involved? Were the rumors of JvdS and his involvement a cover for the involvement of many more? Perhaps he was singled out because he was seen with Natalee and 2K in the car? He was the one interacting with her in C&C? His father may truly have been low person on the political totem pole in Aruba? JMHO

There is also the possibility that many in ALE truly did not know what happened to the evidence, if it existed at some point and just disappeared. If these latest are involved, it must have been a strange year in Aruba for many. JMHO

I did not see Beth on TV today or yesterday for that matter. But I did catch her and Dave during the week, and Beth's voice and expression were actually low-key and very reasonable. Had she come across like that from the beginning, things could have possibly gone smoother for her.

New Arrest in Natalee Holloway Case

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands — Dutch police have detained a man on suspicion of participating in the kidnapping and killing of Natalee Holloway last year in Aruba, the suspect's lawyer said Sunday.

Gerard Spong said his client, whose name was not disclosed, was accused of "assisting in the murder, heavy battery and kidnapping" of Holloway. He also told Dutch national TV broadcaster NOS that the suspect was a croupier at the casino in the hotel where Holloway was staying.

The Mountain Brook, Ala., woman was 18 when she went missing in May 2005 during a high school graduation trip to the Dutch Caribbean island with classmates. She was last seen leaving a bar with three young men on May 30.

It was not clear when the suspect was arrested, but he was questioned Friday and is being held in the city of Utrecht, Spong said.

Utrecht police spokeswoman Danielle Friedman said she could not confirm any arrests in the case.

"If there was an arrest, it was on the orders of the Aruban prosecutors and all information will be transmitted through them," she said.

Spong also told NOS the suspect is a friend of Joran van der Sloot — the last person known to have seen Holloway alive. Van der Sloot says he left Holloway alone on a beach after kissing her.

Authorities have arrested at least eight people — including two last month — in connection with Holloway's disappearance but released them all for lack of evidence.

Holloway's parents are attempting to sue Van der Sloot, 18, in a New York court, alleging he imprisoned and sexually assaulted their daughter and caused her disappearance.

Dutch marines, the Aruban Coast Guard, the FBI and hundreds of volunteers have searched the island and coastal areas of Aruba for Holloway.

It is a case that has drawn an international audience as
people, in varying languages, ask one question:
Where really, is Natalee Holloway?
One of the journalists who covered the case in its
early stages, was our own senior correspondent,
Norman ‘Gus’ Thomas, who is firm in the view t
hat the Holloway matter is on its way to what he
calls the 'cold case files'.
It is a case that brought together some of what are
said to be the best investigators on earth with their
sniffer dogs, ground-penetrating radar,
sonar rigs, etc. Yet all this, up to this point in time,
has failed as the case now goes into another month.
Now, with a whopping US$1 million reward
dangling before them, the latest in this ongoing
saga is that authorities on Aruba are currently
looking at a landfill where one witness claims he
saw a body being dumped or buried there.
Prior to this, hopes rose high when the draining of
a lake took place in an ongoing search for evidence.
Alas, nothing.Thomas argues that from day one
something seemed wrong, going on to add that
there were several twists in the tale which
became more entangled as time went by.
Thomas summarized his view by highlighting
some of the events in Aruba while posing some
very searching questions.
"Do not forget that there was a report coming from
the assistant Commissioner of Police stating that
there was a confession, added to that it was also
stated that one of the three suspects was actually
leading the police to the site.
Shortly after that statement became public, a press
conference was held in which one senior
government official made no reference to the
Assistant Commissioner's statement, choosing
rather, to say that the authorities were at a
critical juncture in the investigations.
“I spoke with the police but all I was told is that
no confession was made. It begs the question
therefore, if the statement was incorrect, did
the high ranking police officer lie? If so, why
wasn't a public apology made?
“The main suspect, the son of a would be judge,
gave different stories at different times.
All of these, to my mind, create doubt and
suspicion.
As a result of this, confusion now reigns in
this case, which is indeed sad and sickening.
“The island of Aruba and, by extension, the
Caribbean has suffered, all because one or
several persons have refused to speak the
truth, while others prefer to play politics
with the possible death of a brilliant and
beautiful human being. This is indeed a tragedy.
“One that has soured relations between Aruba’
as well as the entire Caribbean region and the
United States of America," said a very
passionate Thomas.

Natalee Holloway's Mother Promotes Safe Travel
Beth Twitty Visited Michigan City Tuesday-
The disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba captured
the heart and attention of the country. Now, her mom has
a message for kids about travel.
CBS 2’s Mai Martinez reports Beth Twitty is traveling the
country to promote her new program.
Almost a year after Natalee Holloway disappeared on the
island of Aruba, her mother finds herself in Michigan
City, Ind., to warn other young adults and their parents
about the dangers of traveling abroad.
“We think about all the valuable time that we lost in trying
to find out who’s in charge and who can help the family,”
Beth Twitty said. “I’ve always said that if I’m ever in
the position where I can begin investigating and laying
out the infrastructure in different foreign countries, I
will do so.”That’s what Twitty is doing now in a series
of visits to high schools and communities across the
country, promoting her International Safe Travels
Program.
The program is endorsed by the National Sheriff’s
Association, and sheriffs nationwide are helping Twitty
get her message to those who need it most.
“I felt this would be great way for not only the people of
this community but the kids of this community to see
not only what she’s gone through but what she’s trying
to do so that others can avoid the same pitfalls that,
unfortunately, Natalee fell into,” said Porter County
Sheriff James Arnold.
Twitty has already visited several high schools across the
country and says the reaction has been positive.
Twitty says she only wishes a program like Safe Travels
was available last year before Natalee went to Aruba.
“And I know that if Natalee’s classmates had heard this
message and had the information and just the forum
to discuss things that can happen and to be aware of and
cautioned about, Natalee wouldn’t be missing,” Twitty
said.

Joran has no name, he was "The boy from Brazil" planted into the Sloot's family. Joran was grown and groomed to be the next Hitler. The world needs to stop this SOB from day one. Joran has no shame and no conscience in lying about Natalee. I have made Natalee's graduation portrait as my wallpaper in all my personal laptops. I am working for a China trading company which has won two projects for the economic developments in Aruba. All the people in my office love Natalee. Natalee is a princess of peace. My focus team have a sense of Natalee of who she is. Natalee is one of us, an honest team member, works very hard, does the right thing and makes the right decision. Natalee has her good name. Joran is a convolution of lies and evil bangbus of malice, identical to Hitler back into the future. I painted a pic of him on the top of a piss bowl deoderant pack and placed it into one of the piss stalls in the men room. People love to piss in there. One guy said he could piss so hard on it, he forced out all his kidney stones and saved himself from a major surgery. He no longer felt the pain ever since he kept pissing on Joran's face in the toilet bowl. We all feel that way. May 17 is the piss day for Joran and Joe T.
