LATEST NEWS ON WITNESS BEING HELD IN NATALEE HOLLOWAY CASE~UPDATE

BETH TWITTY and her Lawyer were both on NANCY GRACE TONIGHT. The discussion was about the person being held in ARUBA (see transcript below of Greta's interview on June 22 below.)
John Walch of America's most wanted was also on Larry King live and they were also discussing the Natalee Holloway case as well.

On June 22nd...
Greta on Fox interiview Beth's lawyer. There is someone named Carlos the Columbian in custody in Aruba that is beingheld as a Witness in Natalee's disappearence. He has been in custody since back in late April early May sometime. According to what was said is that he spilled the beans on what he said he saw including the disposal of the body in the ocean with weights. Evidence of what he said he saw had been found as sent to the Netherlands. He saw only two people. A Tall thin guy and Natalee. What he saw was on the beach and what beach was not mentioned or known. Thats about all I can report for now.

Maybe since he is being held as a witness he is beig held for his own protection. I have no idea about some of these wild and wooly laws they have in Aruba.

New evidence in Aruba from a witness. Not a suspect but he's in jail.
So who is in jail and why?

This is a gentleman who stepped forward, I was put in contact with him, he saw somebody on the beach. I put him in touch with Janssen so he's been in jail for a month now
Greta:
we might laugh, he's a witness and in jail? Is there legal authority to hold him on a whim?
John
I feel sorry for him they certainly want them to come forward but my understanding is he's held and he's talking. He's allegedly witnessed something, he's got physical evidence and it's been sent to the NFI
This guy Carlos, he's supposedly witnessed the events of Natalee's death and disappearance and the disposal of the body?
He saw two people on the beach. Natalee is one of the two.

One person doing something to Natalee?
John
Yes, from a distance, there was an assault, a noise and then disposal of the body. It was a confrontation, an assault and disposal in the water.
Greta:
Any description of the guy who did the assault?
John:
Tall and thin as I understand. No names associated, no suspects, just a description.
That's how it all started, I was contacted about first hand info and where Natalee could be found

Anything that corroborates this guy's story?
John
Physical evidence that's consistent with his story, that's been sent to The Netherlands. There's also some weights been recovered that were used to weigh down the body, consistent with the place they were taken from.

Where was this?
John:
One thing I don't know, I don't know what beach
Greta:
Why is she holding him
John:
He's from out of the country, he might be illegal and will disappear if she doesn't hold him

Does this seem to be moving slowly if he was picked up April
John
We might think that, but the physical evidence is sent to The Netherlands, so it takes time.
The police are on strike, I thought they'd been on strike for the last 13 months but....
Greta:
A strike over some ovetime dispute I understand.. `````Maybe according to this it has been almost 2 months now. Hmmm
